This assignment was relatively quick, until I had to think of a saying that would be relevant to my historical figure. I actually ended up recruiting my mother, as she is very witty and clever and together we came up with this tweet to your right. I will give a brief synopsis of the tweet and its meaning just incase it comes across as confusing.
If anyone is unaware of Benjamin Franklin’s kite experiment, I do urge you to do some research because this is what the tweet is referencing. Essentially Mr. Franklin tied a key to the end of a kite string with the kite flying in the air above, it was a dreary day with thunder and lightning overhead and the kite was struck by a bolt of lightning. His purpose of all of this was to demonstrate the electrical nature of lightning, supposedly leading to the discovery of electricity.
