My name is Mikaela Littlefield, I am 24 years old and I have a bachelor’s degree in medical biology from the University of New England. I am continuing my education by returning to my alma mater to pursue a nursing degree through UNE’s ABSN program. My goal is to become a nurse so that I may eventually go on to become a nurse practitioner.
I have been working as a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for the past few years and recently got licensed as an LNA (CNA in Maine). I hope to work in an environment that encourages teamwork and has opportunities for additional certifications. I am interested in working in a trauma/ICU care unit. I enjoy challenges, being resourceful, and am naturally creative in nature.
I love to garden, grow vegetables and spend time outdoors. I love to quilt and make care packages for family members in the military. I have a large family and enjoy spending time with them. I have an older brother, a twin brother, and a little sister. We have a farm of animals including a rabbit, 4 cats, a dog, and a questionably living fish and hermit crab.
